Once again, the pig has gotten into the garden. No worries. This pig won’t be eating as much as the gophers or rabbits do because it has shown up in the form of slices of bacon layered with smoked gouda, roasted yam slices, cucumbers, avocado, roasted red peppers and greens. Think BLT meets (meats?) garden sandwich.
Our soup special this week will be a creamy corn chowder with potatoes and some southwestern spices.
