This Week’s Specials March 8th-13th
We will start this week off with more of our Muffuletta Sandwich special! In our version of this New Orleans specialty, we make an in-house olive tapenade spread, and layer that with black forest ham, salami, provolone, tomatoes, and mayo on rustic white Como bread and grill it on the panini press. Next up is our Mediterranean Turkey! Loaded with fresh sliced turkey breast, our house Kalamata spread, Havarti cheese, roasted eggplant, pickled onions, roasted red peppers, and arugula all served on a Grand Central Bakery’s soft ciabatta log.
We are making one last batch of our Red Beans and Rice with Andouille sausage, peppers, onions, and garlic, to go along with the Muffuletta on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday while supplies last we will have our Italian Sausage and Chickpea. Per usual the Chicken Artichoke is available every Thursday and we make Clam Chowder every Friday. All our soups are freshly made from scratch right here at the café!
New at the South Store Café is our Draft Beer and Cocktail selections! Our new March Cocktail Special is a Blood Orange Gin Fizz made with Aria Gin from Portland! Our Spanish Coffee is out of this world with Oregon distilled Orange Liquor and Kahlua with our Rakish Tilt espresso blend from Caravan Coffee Roasters! The bakers are putting out their fresh goodies every morning, including some St Patrick’s day treats starting this week.
The café is open for dine-in, walk-in to place your order at the counter. We also have convenient online ordering available. Just an FYI we have limited seating and an even more limited parking lot. If you are meeting up at the café, please consider carpooling as our surrounding roadways are no parking zones.
