Weekly Specials March 1st-6th
It’s Mardi Gras week and we celebrate every year with our Muffuletta Sandwich special! In our version of this New Orleans specialty, we make an in-house olive tapenade spread, and layer that with black forest ham, salami, provolone, tomatoes, and mayo on Grand Central Bakery’s rustic white Como bread and grill it on the panini press.
For Mardi Gras we are making Red Beans and Rice this week with Andouille sausage, peppers, onions, and garlic, on Fat Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday while supplies last. Per usual the Chicken Artichoke is available every Thursday and we make Clam Chowder every Friday. All our soups are freshly made from scratch right here at the café!
New at the South Store Café is our Draft Beer and Cocktail selections! Our new March Cocktail Special is a Blood Orange Gin Fizz made with Aria Gin from Portland! Our Spanish Coffee is out of this world with Oregon distilled Orange Liquor and Kahlua with our Rakish Tilt espresso blend from Caravan Coffee Roasters! The bakers are putting out their fresh goodies every morning, including some King Cake this week.
The café is open for dine-in. We have limited seating and a more limited parking lot. If you are meeting up at the café, please consider carpooling as our surrounding roadways are no parking zones. Masks are required when entering the café and anytime you are not seated and eating or drinking.
