Specials for August 23rd-28th
This week we are featuring our Turkey Pesto! With lots of fresh basil coming in from our local farms we make our favorite house pesto with garlic and lots of parmesan cheese. We spread that on rustic white bread and load it p with fresh sliced turkey breast, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, mayo, and greens. Available Tuesday through Sunday while supplies last.
For soup this week, since we are starting to get our local farm tomatoes and since it’s going to be hot, we are making our chilled Tomato Gazpacho soup. This is a crowd favorite that we make only once a year with local heirloom tomatoes fresh from Karl’s garden. Get it on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday while supplies last. Per usual we will have the Chicken Artichoke on Thursday and our Clam Chowder every Friday. All our soups are made from scratch right here at the cafe!
Bakers are filling up our pastry case every morning with our fresh, house-baked goodies. We have lots of local fruit like peaches, figs, and blackberries going into our delicious pastries, come check it out.
